In terms of individual professions, the recognition rate in Germany diverges widely. Over 90% of applicants who wish to have their license to practice as a veterinarian, speech therapist or dentist recognized receive full equivalence. In the most professions, the share of those granted full equivalence varies from 40% to 90%.

In terms of individual professions, the recognition rate in Germany diverges widely. Over 90% of applicants who wish to have their license to practice as a veterinarian, speech therapist or dentist recognized receive full equivalence. In the most professions, the share of those granted full equivalence varies from 40% to 90%. In such professions as masseur and medical pool attendant, the success rate is remarkably low. Only 15% of the applicants, who wish to work as a medical pool attendant, granted full equivalence.

The majority of recognition procedures concerned the healthcare professions. Besides, a lot of applicants sought recognition in such professions as office clerks as well as electronics technician, electrical systems technician and motor vehicle mechatronics technician.
